Bruce has over 35 years experience in corporate communications, video, multimedia, and event production. In 2021 he combined his video expertise with his life-long passion for cars and started Center Lane, a YouTube channel focussed on telling stories about unique cars and their owners.
Previously Bruce was VP of Marketing and Client Services at AV Strategies, responsible for marketing, brand, and delivering multimedia and value-added services to corporate clients. Prior to joining AV Strategies, Bruce founded Direct Impact Media in 2006, a video & multimedia production company helping corporate clients and other production companies achieve their communications goals. Bruce has served as a field producer for CNBC and CNW Group (Canada Newswire) and was a regular segment producer for BTV-Business Television, a weekly television show featuring emerging publicly traded companies.
Bruce spent the early part of his career at TELUS, in a variety of Corporate Communications positions spanning 19 years. He has been recognized by the International Association of Business Communicators with two Gold Quill Awards for his highly innovative work and he has received multiple industry awards for event management and video production.
Now, semi-retired, Bruce works as a freelance producer of video and multimedia projects. Bruce is very involved with his church having served in multiple positions, including President of Holy Cross Ukrainian Catholic Parish in Surrey. He has also served a Vice-President of the BC Corvette Club. Bruce has been on the Board of Amparo International since 2022 after participating in a short-term mission trip to Mango in Nicaragua.
